Lt. Keith Bowdle, CJM

Lieutenant Bowdle has over 27 years Corrections Experience and has worked for Union, Grant, Multnomah, Tillamook,Yamhill and currently as the Jail Commander for Polk County.

During his career he has worked in over 15 different correctional  facilities throughout Oregon.

In addition to his duties as the Polk County Jail Commander, Lt. Bowdle also works as a Corrections Consultant and has trained other Corrections Professionals throughout the United States. He is a member of the Oregon Jail Managers Association, American Jail Association and the American Corrections Association.

Lieutenant Bowdle is married and has 5 children and 4 grand children.

 In April of 2002, Lieutenant Bowdle was the recipient of the American Jail Association -  Correctional  Administrator of The Year Award which was presented to him at the Annual Conference in Milwaukee, WI.

Lieutenant Bowdle is also the first Jail Administrator in the State of Oregon to take and pass the "Certified Jail Manager" examination which is conducted by the American Jail Association.

In his spare time Keith enjoys riding his Harley, Boating and working on various home improvement projects.
