Our Mission Statement: "Through collaboration and active intervention ARCHES centralizes opportunities for persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness." This mission will be accomplished through collaboration, partnering, and integration; . . . utilizing existing resources whenever possible.

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency is a well established agency serving Marion and Polk Counties, we employ approximately 225 people and have an annual budget in excess of $10 million. The agency operates Head Start, Energy Assistance, Family Resource Centers and several homeless programs, including ARCHES.

In June, 2002 ARCHES applied for a large grant as apart of the community's continuum of care plan. The grant was submitted to Housing and Urban Development and we were notified that we had been approved for funding in December, 2002. The grant funds are to be used to help our clients pay rent and to receive case management and support while they work to become self-sufficient. The funds can be available for up to 24 months while clients work closely with their landlords, and our case management team.
